Sculpted Bear is a Bear skin that was supposed to debut in BEAR (Alpha), created by BigFatMeanStinkyface. However, it was cancelled as BigFatMeanStinkyface was asked to make a decision by Cheedaman if Sculpted Bear or Doggle should be added, in which BigFatMeanStinkyface choose Doggle. It is unclear how much Sculpted Bear was originally going to be obtained.
Appearance
Sculpted Bear is a crude, digitally sculpted Bear that features unequal sized eyes, a large smile showcasing white teeth, and an abundance of sculpting errors covering the model itself.

- Sculpted Bear was one of the first skins ever to be scrapped.
- Like Doggle, it was initially meant to be 2D with walk sprites.
- Sculpted Bear was submitted at the same time as Doggle.
- As strange as this skin is, Sculpted has the most realistic nose to an actual living bear than any other skin.

Brosty The Snowman is a relatively simple Bear with grey fur, black buttons aligned in the shape of a mouth, a standard black top hat. Brosty The Snowman also displays a winter scarf, featuring blue, white, and black.

Molten Choco Bear appears to be a small bear that wears a pink and white scarf, also with some ice cream on the bottom. Molten Choco Bear appears to be made of milk chocolate.

BEAR XP is a Bear skin that was supposed to debut in BEAR (Alpha), created by luizikkynho1. However, BEAR XP was cancelled as Cheedaman didn't want anything Jimbo-related being in BEAR (Alpha). BEAR XP was originally going to be obtained by inputting a different password into the panels in The Hall of Tortured Souls segment of free-smiley-faces which would have given the player a badge. The player must then enter lies in the processor in which a new corridor would have appeared, featuring BEAR XP. Interacting with BEAR XP would have given the player the BEAR XP skin.
Appearance
BEAR XP is a Windows XP and Frutiger Aero themed Smiley with a body structure similar to Bear. BEAR XP has a Windows based background above it, features the gratulation letters on its neck, has a mouse for its right leg, a destroyed building for the left leg, its left hand is the Earth, welds a nokia, and has bubbles, fishes, and a butterfly floating around it.
Trivia
- BEAR XP would have been the third reward for the free-smiley-faces quest.
- If BEAR XP would have been added, it would've made free-smiley-faces the second collaboration between BEAR* and BEAR (Alpha) with the first being the Rain Come Down badge.
- Instead it was MEGA Easy Obby!✨️ [250 Stages].
- BEAR XP's walks were never finished due to its cancelation.

Misery M. is a Doggle skin that was supposed to debut in BEAR*, created by struzc and TheBritishTroll. However, Misery M. was cancelled as the ARG 2 was cancelled. Misery M. was originally going to be obtained by completing the ARG 2 quest.

In the ARG continuity, Misery M. defeated Breaker Sam and would go onto challenging the player into doing various quests in order to receive a reward.

Breaker Sam is a Sam skin that was supposed to debut in BEAR*, created by Birmations. However, Breaker Sam was cancelled as the ARG 2 was cancelled. Breaker Sam was originally going to be obtained by being purchased it in the Gems Shop for a limited-time.
Appearance
Breaker Sam is a wounded Sam with a red shiny eye and a missing right arm, wearing a damaged orange coat, a yellow-orange shirt, a brown belt with a blue Moon emblem, pale-red pants, dark-red boots, and a red cape, holding a Moon staff.
History
In the ARG continuity, Breaker Sam would slay every entity that he deemed chaotic. In Breaker Sam's various encounters, he received many wounds. In the end, Breaker Sam would be defeated by Misery M..

Error Bear is a Bear skin that was originally going to debut in BEAR (Alpha), created by Cheedaman. However, it was cancelled for unknown reasons. It is unclear how much Error Bear was originally going to be obtained. However, Error Bear was re-introduced in BEAR* as Omen_MAL. Later in the 5th Anniversary this skin was added to BEAR (Alpha) as OmEn_MAL.
Appearance
Error Bear appears to be a pale blue and dark purple colored Bear with a long smile that has a glitch-like appearance.
Trivia
- Error Bear's walk frames were remade for Omen_MAL while the idle frame remained the same.
- Error Bear was used as a placeholder image when you obtained the Royal Egg of the Bearers.

St. Patrick's is a Bear skin that was originally going to debut in BEAR (Alpha), created by RobWinzz. However, it was cancelled for unknown reasons. It is unclear how much St. Patrick's was originally going to be obtained. However, St. Patrick's was re-introduced in BEAR*. Later in 2023 this skin was added to BEAR (Alpha), renamed as Leprechaun.

St. Patrick's appears to be a normal Bear holding a pot of gold and wearing a green hat.

After Hours was a badge that debuts in BEAR*. After Hours was originally meant to release alongside with the Christmas 2020 event, created by Cheedaman. After Hours would reward the player getting banned from the game. As of January 7th, 2021, After Hours has been removed from the badge list.
Removal
After Hours was added due to 13 hackers getting the badge before it was released. This lead the badge to getting removed from the badge list, and with it getting replaced with What It's All About.

Maps
There are a total of seven unused maps, map remakes or limited time versions of maps.
Formidable Castle was a map made by macabreroses that was supposed to be in the Alpha Month update in BEAR (Alpha) but was replaced by Assembly due to copyright issues.
System Crypt was supposed to have a remake in BEAR (Alpha) for the Deluxe Update. Due to its creator, macabreroses, leaving the team at that time, this remastered version of the map was scrapped.
Gallery
After receiving feedback from the B.A. (DELUXE DEMO) build, macabreroses began working on a remake for Hospital Nightmare VI, with the intention of improving upon its predecessor. The project, however, was ultimately scrapped, and some of its assets were later incorporated into Hospital Nightmare: Resurrection, which debuted during the Autumn Break Update.
The Bathrooms was supposed to be the easter reskin of the Backrooms. However, due to it not being related to easter, another simpler version was created.
ARCHIVE08 was supposed to be the easter reskin of Lab 56. This version had its own teaser posted, however it was never used for unknown reasons.
Classic Wetlands was supposed to be the original easter reskin for Unknown Wetlands, the main idea for this version revolved around the Easter Island, and it had a bunch of Moʻai statues located all around the map.
Xocolatphobia was supposed to be the original easter reskin on Yikes, the main idea would be that everything was made out of chocolate, but it was replaced by the one seen in the Easter update due it being poorly executed.
Events
There are a total of four planned events that were cancelled.
The Valentine's Day 2021 event was a scrapped BEAR* event that was supposed to release during February 2021. However, on February 13th, 2021, Cheedaman announced that the event was cancelled due to him being in the Emergency Room for having E. coli. On February 14th, 2021, Cheedaman announced that he was fine, but that he was going to be there for a couple of days.
On February 23rd, 2021, 3 days after Cheed left the Emergency Room, he would accidently release Heart Balloon, and stated "there is not much I can really do about this now".
The Easter 2021 was a scrapped BEAR* event that was supposed to release during April 2021. However, it was later cancelled due to N/A.
However 2 of the B.O.B. skins were added as regular Weekly B.O.Bs. (🗿 and B.O.G.G.)
The Easter 2023 was a scrapped BEAR* event that was supposed to release during April 2023. However, it was cancelled due to the developers wanting to "focus on things that they believe truly matters to the future of the game", likely referring to the TRILOGY* PART 3 update.[1]
The Halloween 2024 event was a scrapped BEAR (Alpha) event that was supposed to release during October 2024. However, it was cancelled due to Cheedaman being too sick to work on it.[2]
Lobbies
BEAR 2 Lobby was found in one of Cheedaman's Roblox experiences named, What's This?. In What's This?, it showcases a large-sized room with long brick walls that is colored grey. In the room, there is a big fan that is on one of the walls, lights on the corner of the ceiling, some dirt grime on some of the walls, some wires hanging on the walls, a pill of drums and boxes, multiple cracks in the walls showing the interior of it, big stains on the corner of the walls, as well as The Mandem stands from BEAR (Alpha) but with a few more members. Their are also a hidden room that can be accessed by going through one of the walls in which the player can enter a corridor, after walking down the corridor the player will be in the secret room showcasing N/A. Furthermore, if the player happened to use shiftlock on one of the walls, the Obby For Quidz! can be seen closed off by the wall. Currently, this experience has been privated, therefore meaning it can no longer be accessed. BEAR 2 Lobby was added later on in the 4th Anniversary event as one of the lobby themes in the settings, however it would lack some of the features, like the additional members in the Mandem stands, the blocked Obby For Quidz!, the hidden corridor etc.
Quests
ARG 2
ARG 2 was a quest that was supposed to debut in BEAR*, created by struzc and Supersh4rky109. However, ARG 2 was cancelled due to conflicts with the main scripter, KirigazaMasterGamer. ARG 2 would have been about Misery M. challenging the player through various quests, while explaining the lore in the reward. There would have been five levels, with each level increasing in difficulty. The last level would have been a final chase with Misery M.
The Caves was a level that was supposed to debut in the ARG before it was cancelled.
Appearance
Level 1, also known as The Caves, appears to be similar to System Crypt and Sam's Resting Place as it takes place inside some big caves full of rocks and bright colored minerals.

... Oh, seems like you made it. Good job. Even a toddler would've done that, there was almost no danger. Well, I guess you earned your answer, although. Let's tackle the question that concerns you first, since you humans care so dearly about your well being, that being the subject himself. The entity you refer to as Smiley S. can be counted as a Watcher. He doesn't really care about interacting with you, y'know... unless certain circumstances are met. He's been observing the known universe for a long time in peace, somewhere. But I've been doing that too. I've been observing Sun and his movements for the longest time since I've discovered his existence and the way I did that doesn't concern you. The thing is, that as long as you won't bother him, he won't bother you. And you'd better do that. His powers are mainly psychological, he can attack anything that has a feasible brain and manipulate it to his own liking, altering memories, leading you to complete insanity... Not bad for someone who doesn't even get out of his personal space, hm? I've revealed enough. A new challenge awaits ahead. |

The Woods was a level that was supposed to debut in the ARG before it was cancelled.
Appearance
Level 2, also known as The Woods, appears to be a mix of Yorick's Resting Place, Yikes and Sam's Resting Place.
Dialogue
You managed to escape the woods.
However, I'm still not impressed. Still, you've shown some basic abilities in problem solving, perhaps I did make the right choice when I invited you... We'll see. Credit where it's due, I owe you yet another explanation. I understand that you're probably aware of those cloud-like creatures that usually accompany Sun. I suggest you to refer to them as 'Forclou', for now. You see, Smiley has the ability to bend and use his own substance to his liking. His substance, the solar liquid, composes his body and is the main source of his powers, as they contain chemicals capable of altering the mind... But also able to be used to create "puppets". The forclou are none other than mindless tools that smiley used to not only stalk the world around him, but also to... Eliminate problems. I'm talking about a certain sphere of people that perhaps knew too much about his business. The forclou were the means to get rid of them, in one way or another.

Level 3, also known as The House, appears to be a level situated inside a blue house wich has a few references to Misery M. like a carpet with a blue moon on it or the whole level being mostly blue.

You see, Sun can be referred to as a living, fictional character. He comes directly from an old cartoon regarding a certain green dog... I bet you're aware of what that thing could be. He was a character there, having the role of the "smiling sun" of the cartoon, always watching, never blinking. Quite boring, wouldn't you agree? At one point, a certain occurrence took place and the cartoon disbanded, eventually, Sun has managed to flee his captivity alongside the other specimens.
