The Final Hour. is a map that debuts in BEAR (Alpha) and B.A. [DELUXE DEMO]. The Final Hour. released alongside with the 1st Anniversary in BEAR (Alpha), and released alongside with B.A. [DELUXE DEMO], created by macabreroses. The Final Hour has a total of 3 Puzzles in BEAR (Alpha) and 4 puzzles in B.A. [DELUXE DEMO], and 5 gamemodes.
Overview
The Final Hour. is the smallest map. The survivor spawns in a lower area where they have to climb a ladder to get out. Going forward there is a fence that is partly broken. Up ahead there is a large lighthouse complex. The lighthouse has an upper section and a lower section. The lower section contains three rooms with messages scribbled on the wall in one of them. The upper section can be accessed by two ladders and contains the roof of the house and two levels of the main lighthouse. The first level contains the color code puzzle and the second level contains the physical light. There is also a lower beach area where the cheese alter is located. Going up from the beach, the player can find a secret room and stand inside of it. There is also a raised hill with a forest on top of it.
In B.A. [DELUXE DEMO], there is a small tunnel at Survivor's spawn, that will lead to the Cheese Altar.
Puzzles
Wire Puzzles
The Final Hour. includes one through two wire puzzles in the map. The locations of the wire puzzles are on a wall next to the lighthouse and under the stairway that leads to the beach, next to the lighthouse.
In B.A. [DELUXE DEMO], the locations are next to the fence near the survivor spawn and inside a small brick house near the lighthouse.
Cheese Altar
The Final Hour. includes a Cheese Altar in the map, alongside with the cheese used to complete the puzzle. The location of the cheese is on the roof of a house, on top of one of the brick's pedestals. Meanwhile, the Cheese Altar is at the large rock formation.
In B.A. [DELUXE DEMO], the cheese is located near the bears' spawn. Meanwhile, the Cheese Altar is on the surface above the survivor spawn.
Color Code
The Final Hour. includes a Color Code in the map, alongside with the code used to complete the puzzle. The locations of the code are on top of the entrance inside the cave near the survivors' spawn, on a rock next to the bears' spawn, and inside the lighthouse, on a wall. Meanwhile, the Color Code is on the back of the balcony of the lighthouse.
In B.A. [DELUXE DEMO], the locations of the code are on a wall next to the left corner above the survivor spawn, on a wall next to the right corner above the survivor spawn, and at the survivor spawn, inside the small tunnel's back wall with graffiti's around it.
Texts
The Final Hour. has numerous texts about the Lore.
IT LEADS US TO A DEAD END; STILL WAITING FOR RESCUE!!! 5/21/19
- This is the 1st text written by a survivor and is dated the same as BEAR (Alpha)’s creation date.
- We can easily understand that the survivors got trapped on the Island and couldn't go anywhere; However they expect rescue to come soon.
I COMPLETED SOME PUZZLES BUT NO LUCK 5/23/19
- According to the text, 2 days later, they were able to solve some puzzles.
- By solving puzzles, survivors expected to unlock something.*By this text, we can understand that these survivors trapped on The Final Hour. are very similar to us, players.
- We can suppose that they didn't solve the puzzle so as to reduce the timer; they were looking for something else.

- This is the 1st text which is talking about an external threat.
- A week passed since the last message.
What are you guys Talking about? I was being chased by a 7ft dog. 6/7/19
- We can note that this survivor was chased by Doggle.
- Doggle was released on 6/7/19 aka the date in the message.
- Because this text says that they were chased by a 7ft dog, we know that Doggle is 7 feet tall.
The fog horn seems to not work anymore. We're screwed. Also I am sorry if I write small. 6/8/19
- Since the fog horn didn't work anymore, the survivors thought they were screwed.
- But curiously, when, us players, play in The Final Hour., the fog horn works correctly. Did they repair it or...?
- Only one day passed since the last message.
I got chased by a Thing called "Bear". I'm a zoologist and can't make out where it came from or if this thing is actually connected to Bears. 11/28/19
- This survivor, which is a zoologist got chased by Bear, this is strange because BEAR (Alpha) was out for several months.
- It is more likely that the zoologist was unable to understand this new threat. They said that they don't know if the "thing" is linked to bears in real life. But it's most likely not.
- 5 months passed between messages, which is actually the longest time between a message. This means that either something happened to cause that gap or nothing happened that was noteworthy.
I powered the generator so I can activate the lighthouse's light. I'm pretty sure someone out on the sea will notice. 11/29/19
- This survivor powered the generator after 6 months trapped on the Island.
- This is also the last message dated, which either means that the remaining survivors found out how to escape the Island with this "rescue" or something else happened to them.
- It is more likely that someone noticed the Lighthouse's light, but (Not verified) they were found by a character who didn't save them. The final text agrees with this theory.
Nobody survives forever.
- Even if this text is written by a survivor; which is the last text without date, (Means that Survivors aren't on the Island anymore) This text was written for us, players, cause we usually survive, respawn, survive etc... But we can't die in terms that even if got caught by Bear the game isn't over.
Trivia
- This map is based off and is a reference to a map in the popular video game Left for Dead 2. The map in that game is called The Last Stand and looks very similar to The Final Hour..
- One can see the same flare torch as the one in Underwater Woods.
- The soundtrack for this map is the save room theme from the Resident Evil 1 GC remake.
- If you go to the secret cave next to the cheese altar area and look behind the hanging stalactite there is a button with Track 03's icon it, clicking on it complements the player of finding it and says about something we are looking for, giving as a hint the word "Wealthy". This was a hint for getting the Vector skin and hinting us to go to "Woah that's really cool wow", as Lagoon is shown with money bags, gold ingots and treasure chests, implying the fact that he is wealthy.
- If you go to the storage room next to the actual lighthouse building and try to jump on the little ring hanging from the ceiling you can activate a horn.
- This map has a connection with ASSEMBLY, possibly one of the first locations the survivors were fighting against the bear.
- However, the connection in Assembly was removed on October 21st, 2023.
- The Final Hour.'s theme in B.A. [DELUXE DEMO] was a slowed version of "Aquatic Ambiance" from Donkey Kong Country 1
- In the Revisited Update, this map was reverted to its original version but updated and improved with some changes.
- One of these changes is the underground where the survivors' used to spawn, alongside with a stone ladder used by the survivors' to get to the surface above.
