System Crypt is a map that debuts in BEAR (Alpha) and BEAR*. System Crypt released alongside with the System Crypt Update in BEAR (Alpha), and alongside with Valentine's Day 2022 in BEAR*, created by EggscrutiatingIy, and revamped in BEAR* with the help of biscuitpuff01 and DaDominator630 with the Circus In Town Update. System Crypt has a total of 4 puzzles, 5 gamemodes in BEAR (Alpha), and 4 gamemodes in BEAR*.

Layout

BEAR (Alpha)

System Crypt is a map that is mostly of a red color. Survivors spawn in a wide open room that has many large holders with flames coming out of them. Behind the spawn is a secret room where survivors can hide. Throughout the map there are many holders with red/orange flames coming out of them. Additionally many multicolored trees populate the hallways, ranging in color from red, green, and blue. Additionally there are several broken elevators that lead up to somewhere.

BEAR*

System Crypt appears to look similar to the BEAR (Alpha)'s version, but it also includes a huge laboratory that is separated in the A (bottom) and B (up) side. The map uses a lot of Violaxum in its machinery, including the big portal at spawn that we access the map with, and many plants that look like Violaxum as well as different tree variants called "worts" can be seen throughout the map. Overall, System Crypt looks like a very futuristic and high-tech map.

Puzzles

BEAR (Alpha)

• Two Wire Puzzles.
  • One is at the bears' spawn.
  • The other one is down a hallway next to the cheese.
• Cheese Altar, located in a crevice.
  • The cheese is located next to the wire puzzle at the hallway.
• Color Code. The panel is located through another see through wall near a second wire puzzle.
  • The code can be located on a left wall to the right with a dead end.

BEAR*

• Two Wire Puzzles.
  • The first Wire Puzzle is located in a separated small part of the lab with two ladders, near blue boxes.
  • The second Wire Puzzle is located under a stairwell that exits from the B-23 area of laboratory with plants, near pink boxes.
• Cheese Altar, located at the geysers place.
  • The cheese is located on a desk at the office (A-5 area of laboratory).
• Color Code. The input panel has two possible locations, it can spawn either: in the A-4 area of laboratory next to the office with cheese, or in the B-20 area of laboratory right near Survivors' spawn.
  • There are 3 possible spawns for the code:
    • On a wall above a window in the B-24 area of laboratory (BEARs' spawn).
    • On a stone wall next to the grinder.
    • On a stone wall next to the second wire puzzle and pink boxes, outside the laboratory.

Trivia

• BEAR (Alpha)'s System Crypt made a cameo during the Vector Validation event, it was all ruined and had drawn decals all over it, it was also edited to make it feel more like an obby instead of a maze.
• There are 2 orbs in this map referencing to Bottom of the Pit.
• In BEAR (Alpha)'s System Crypt, The big rocks that are the size of a Square near the Survivor spawn is actually the Cheese Altar but it has the same texture as System Crypt.
• BEAR*'s System Crypt has been confirmed to not be made entirely out of The Organism by Eggscrutiatingly.
  • In the revamped version, there are no longer any teeth or eyes, which are an iconic part of The Organism.
• BEAR (Alpha)'s soundtrack is "The Circle UK Main Theme" but in 0.20 playback speed, and 0.30 for BEAR*.
• In the BEAR*'s System Crypt office, there are 4 Autopsy Reports that reveal the names of 4 dead hikers and the examiner, Binkle McKnight. The 4 hikers' names are:
