References and Citations

If a statement can not be proven by playing the game either in its current version or during a previous version, a reference must be provided. If said information sounds plausible, add the Citation Needed template. Before adding the template, it is recommended to try to find a source first.

Do not add the Citation Needed template when:

  1. The statement is obvious nonsense/trolling/vandalism. Delete it instead.
  2. The statement is dubious/controversial/harmful claims of living people. Delete it instead.
  3. The statement is reasonable but still very doubtful, search for a source or delete it instead. If deleted, provide an adequate summary (ex: "Very doubtful, please do not revert without giving a citation").

Keep in mind that a citation might be required even if a statement can be proven by playing the game. If you consider this to be the case, ask a staff member if a citation should be provided or not.
