Rarity is a status for skins, kill effects, and gears in the shop that was released alongside with BEAR* and the April Fools' Day Event games. There are a total of 15 rarities for BEAR* and the April Fools' Day Event games. 13 for BEAR*, and 2 for the April Fools' Day Event games.

BEAR*

Common

Common is a rarity that is characterized by a gray background/text. Below are the price ranges for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Common rarity:

Price ranges for Common skins range from 0 - 400 Quidz. Common skins that cost gems have no range yet, due to there only being one in the category.
Price ranges for Common kill effects range from 0 - 150 Quidz.
Price ranges for Common gears range from 30 - 300 Quidz.

You immediately obtain four Common items--Default BEAR, B.O.B., Charlotte Bearbury, and the Default Kill Effect--when you join BEAR* for the first time.

Rare

Rare is a rarity that is characterized by a green background/text. Below are the price ranges for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Rare rarity:

Price ranges for Rare skins range from 151 - 850 Quidz, and from 10 - 20 Gems.
Price ranges for Rare kill effects range from 145 - 299 Quidz.
Price ranges for Rare gears range from 80 - 198 Quidz.

Epic

Epic is a rarity that is characterized by a purple background/text. Below are the price ranges for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Epic rarity:

Price ranges for Epic skins range from 275 - 1,200 Quidz, and from 12 - 35 Gems.
Price ranges for Epic kill effects range from 185 - 379 Quidz.
Price ranges for Epic gears range from 188 - 340 Quidz.

Legendary

Legendary is a rarity that is characterized by a red background/text. Legendary houses all abilities, which are free upon joining BEAR*. Below are the price ranges for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Legendary rarity:

Price ranges for Legendary skins range from 400 - 2,500 Quidz, and from 22 - 55 Gems.
Price ranges for Legendary kill effects range from 301 - 600 Quidz. Legendary kill effects that cost Gems have no range yet, due to there only being one in the category.
Price ranges for Legendary gears range from 320 Quidz to 500 Quidz, and from 6 - 8 Gems.

Mythical

Mythical is a rarity that is characterized by a orange background/text. Mythical is most known for being the greatest tier of rarity over non-limited shop skins. Below are the price ranges for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Mythical rarity:

Price ranges for Mythical skins range from 888 - 7,200 Quidz. Mythical skins that cost Gems have no range yet, due to there only being one in the category.
Price ranges for Mythical kill effects range from 777 - 800 Quidz. Mythical kill effects that cost Gems have no range yet, due to there only being one in the category.
Price ranges for Mythical gears range from 800 - 888 Quidz. Mythical gears that cost Gems have no range yet, due to there only being one in the category.

Promo

Promo is a rarity that is characterized by a yellow background/text. Promo skins, kill effects, and gears do not have a price range, due to them being obtained by redeeming a code in the promo code section in the Shop.

Special

Special is a rarity that is characterized by a light blue background/text. Special is most known for having rewards that come from badges that are from, or are related to BEAR* (ex. Jimbo Spoon Fighting, :), and The Museum). The Special rarity is also used for the Survivor's Choice, which is obtained through the V.I.P. gamepass. Special skins, kill effects, and gears do not have a price range, due to them being obtained by badges.

Exotic

Exotic is a rarity that is characterized by a light pink background/text. Exotic was originally used as an umbrella rarity for all holiday skins, kill effects, and gears. That is, until, the introduction of the respective holidays' rarities in early 2022. Depending on the holiday Exotic skins, gears, and kill effects costed Candies, Samdycanes, or Quidz.

Halloween

Halloween is a rarity that is characterized by a dark purple background/text. Halloween is used for all limited-time skins introduced within the Halloween Events in BEAR*. Below are the requirements for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Halloween rarity:

Price ranges for Halloween skins range from 150 - 2,400 Candies, and from 600 - 1,250 Quidz.
Price ranges for Halloween kill effects range from 125 - 333 Candies.
Price ranges for Halloween gears range from 50 - 360 Candies.

Christmas

Christmas is a rarity that is characterized by a light cyan background/text. Christmas is used for all limited-time skins introduced within the Christmas Events in BEAR*. Below are the requirements for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Christmas rarity:

Price ranges for Christmas skins range from 400 - 1,250 Samdy Canes, and from 1,000 - 1,872 Quidz.
Price ranges for Christmas kill effects range from 125 - 400 Samdy Canes.
Price ranges for Christmas gears range from 50 - 121 Samdy Canes.

Valentine

Valentine is a rarity that is characterized by a fuchsia background/text. Valentine is used for all limited-time skins introduced within the Valentine's Day Events in BEAR*. Below are the requirements for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Valentine rarity:

Price ranges for Valentine skins range from 400 - 1,222 Quidz.
Price ranges for Valentine gears range from 119 - 241 Quidz.
There are no price ranges for Valentine kill effects, as there is currently only one kill effect under the Valentine rarity.

Easter

Easter is a rarity that is characterized by a grass-like lime background/text. Easter is used for all limited-time skins introduced within the Easter Events in BEAR*. Below are the requirements for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Easter rarity:

Price ranges for Easter skins range from 110 - 380 Eggs, and from 999 - 1,111 Quidz.
There are no price ranges for Easter kill effects and gears, as there is only one kill effect under the Easter rarity, while there are no gears under the Easter rarity.

Smelly

Smelly is a rarity that is characterized by a brown background/text. Smelly is used for all limited-time skins introduced within the April Fools' Day Events in the April Fools' Day Event games. Below are the requirements for a skin, kill effect, and gear to be in the Smelly rarity, for the April Fools' Day Events:

Stinky

Stinky is a rarity that is characterized by a brown background/text. Stinky was originally used as an umbrella rarity for Team Durp, Whitey, and Whitey but different for BEAR (Beta). That is, until, the introduction of the Smelly rarity was released in BEAR SIGMA which replaced the Stinky rarity. Below are the requirements for a skin and kill effect to be in the Stinky rarity:
