Lab, also known as Lab 56 and Lab 25th, is a map that debuts in BEAR (Alpha), BEAR*, BEAR SIGMA, and THE RUN & FALL OF MYSTO ft. BEARS OF SIGMA AREA 51. Lab released on July 1st, 2019 in BEAR (Alpha), originally created by Cheedaman, until it was remade by macabreroses with the Halloween 2023 event, alongside with BEAR* created by Cheedaman and biscuitpuff01, alongside with BEAR SIGMA, and alongside with THE RUN & FALL OF MYSTO ft. BEARS OF SIGMA AREA 51. Lab has a total of 4 Puzzles in BEAR (Alpha), BEAR* (3 during Escape), BEAR SIGMA, and THE RUN & FALL OF MYSTO ft. BEARS OF SIGMA AREA 51.
Appearance
BEAR (Alpha)
Lab is a very dark map. It has a mostly white color. There is a break room with overturned tables and food scattered around. There are tubes with mysterious liquids inside of them. There are several rooms with brown crates. There are also long dark hallways that only have a small red light for light as you walk.
BEAR*
Lab 56 has many rooms containing different things. There are two rooms with a cafeteria in them and there are two rooms for what looks like lab experiments in them. There is also what looks like a science classroom on the far end of the map as well. There are two floors, with the first one containing the things mentioned above. The second floor does not contain much. Just many hallways and a few rooms with wooden crates in them. On the back end of the map is a large generator, which is essential to the survivors escape.in order to escape Lab 56, you must find 6 fuses, a blue fuse, a red fuse, a green fuse, a yellow fuse, a purple fuse, and a cyan fuse.

Lab 21 appears to the BEAR*'s Lab 56 prior to V0.8.1, expect that the Gar emoji from the BEARSTAR Discord Server is spread across the entire map.
Puzzles
BEAR (Alpha)
There are a total of four puzzles on this map:
- Two Wire Puzzles, both are located up the respective staircases.
- Cheese Altar, located in the break room.
- The cheese is located in the back storage room outside.
- Color Code. The panel is located in the room with the three strange liquid tubes.
- The code can be located behind the rusty tube on the second floor.
BEAR*
There are a total of four puzzles (three in Escape Mode) on this map:
- Two Wire Puzzles (One in Escape Mode).
- The first one is located in Room - L2 on the first floor.
- The second one is located to the right side of the second floor.
- Cheese Altar. located in the Experimental Room - R.
- The cheese is located in a locked room in the cafeteria that requires the blue keycard.
- The blue keycard is in Room - L1, next to the survivors' spawn.
- The cheese is located in a locked room in the cafeteria that requires the blue keycard.
- Number Code. The panel has 2 possible locations. It can be located either: at the survivor spawn or down the hallway next to the blue keycard in Room - L1.
- In Escape Mode, it can be in the room from the left side of the bears' spawn.
- The code can be located in 3 locations:
- Inside the Chemical Storage Room on the second floor, right next to the Examination Room.
- Inside the Boiler Room on the second floor (requires the orange keycard to enter in Escape Mode).
- On the writing board in Room - L2 on the first floor.

Trivia
- Lab is known for notorious flashlight lag.
- Prior to V0.8.1, Lab 56 could only be played on Escape mode.
- Originally in BEAR*'s Lab 56, this map had music from JailBreak.
- In the First Version of BEAR*, it could be played in Classic Mode, it was later removed due to bug issues.
- During Christmas 2021, Lab 56 was renamed to Lab 25th.
- In BEAR*, on the roof above the generator there used to be a hidden message: 'If you're reading this, say hi to me in DM.' This was changed on an unknown date to: 'Still here, huh?'.
- On June 12th, 2022, Cheedaman said the Lab 56 would be getting a remake. This added two new fuses with that, being Cyan and Purple.
- The ceiling lights in BEAR* used to be collide able but it was changed on June 23rd, 2023 after people reported about it.
- During the 3rd Anniversary Event in BEAR*, Lab 56's floor was changed to green and purple stripes, and some decorations were also added around the map.
