April Fools' Day Events are a series of events that are based around the holiday April Fools' Day. There are currently five April Fool's Day events that have taken place in the BEAR franchise and four April Fool's Day events have taken place in their own games, those being BEAR (Beta) for 2021, BEAR SIGMA for 2022, THE RUN & FALL OF MYSTO ft. BEARS OF SIGMA AREA 51 for 2023, and MEGA Easy Obby!✨ [250 Stages] for 2024. These games are spinoffs of BEAR*, shown by how they use the same base as BEAR*, with the exception of MEGA Easy Obby!✨ [250 Stages], a collaboration event between BEAR*, BEAR (Alpha) and SKENGINES.

On April 1st, 2025, THE RUN & FALL OF MYSTO ft. BEARS OF SIGMA AREA 51 was permanently re-released, allowing the people who didn't play the events to experience them. This re-release also added back the badges from the previous events for a few days as well as including their respective rewards into BEAR (Alpha).

BEAR SIGMA, also known as April Fools' Day 2022, is a event experience released by Cheedaman on April 1st, 2022, produced using the Roblox platform which lasted until April 3rd, 2022, lasting two day.

Overview

The game looks like the BEAR* lobby but with numerous differences. The gems currency are replaced with brownies, Chillouse's name was changed to "dubstep" and "nerd". It has Connect 4 but being Connect 5 and if you go upstairs you can see a replica of cheese factory. The Obby For Quidz! got removed with a sign saying "NO OBBY?" and under that text shows megamind. (but you can find the "ending" of it behind one of the buildings). The bone for the lever can be found behind one of the buildings but it doesn't work if you click it. The S.W.A.T. vehicles and fences are gone, and Shadow and BEAR are replaced with D.I.Y. Bear, somehow missing its wooden cardboard-cutout. You can also climb on top of the buildings and go "outside" the main spawn since the barriers are also removed. The sewers manhole cover is gone but you can't enter it. There are various characters around the map- sonic T-pose inside a wall (blocking the entrance to WOOF), Whitey T-pose in a dumpster, a silly guitar right by the NO OBBY? entrance, Trollface inside a container and another one floating with Jimbo's vehicle, a green puffle in a cage with green screen and a bear singing on top of the shop. There are also some newspapers on the floor with green puffle, readings: "puffle singing crazy frog!". From time to time, Mysto9786 is driving through the lobby (if he crashes into you, you won't be able to move). Inside the shop, all shelves are removed, some posters outside and inside were replaced with Malbear drip, green puffle, the cheese store and fnaf. bald bear also replaced bear plush. Inside the display window outside are now an egg with hands and legs, and Gumball.

THE RUN & FALL OF MYSTO ft. BEARS OF SIGMA AREA 51, also known as April Fools' Day 2023 and shortened to The Run & Fall, is a event experience released by Cheedaman on April 1st, 2023, produced using the Roblox platform which lasted until April 3rd, 2023, lasting two days.

THE RUN & FALL OF MYSTO ft. BEARS OF SIGMA AREA 51 was re-released on April 1st, 2025, adding some additional new content aswell as re-adding all the badges from the previous events for a limited amount of time. The badges were available until April 3rd, 2025, when the badges were disabled again and their respective rewards were added into BEAR (Alpha) on April 6th, 2025.

    MEGA Easy Obby!✨ [250 Stages], also known as Mega EASY Obby! ✨, is an obby game published on Roblox, created on February 15th, 2024, and released on April 1st, 2024. Published by Personalized Studio Name as well as developed by Cheedaman. During April 1st, 2024 and April 3rd, 2024 the game had a collaboration event called The Front Edition that brought a limited time badge with that awarded 3 rewards, 1 skin for BEAR (Alpha), 1 skin for BEAR*, and 1 wrap for SKENGINES.

    Gameplay

    Mega Easy Obby!✨️ [250 Stages] is an obby game with 250 stages. The game is meant to parody the low-effort games that are usually plagued with gamepasses, this is evidenced further by The Front Edition being a parody of The Hunt: First Edition, an event heavily criticized for the large amount of low-effort games inside it that would often make their quests be extremley long and or requiring the player to play the game regularly.

    General

    • Each event has a badge, and an event's badge's reward is only released in the next event one year later.
      • In the interview with Cheedaman made by TMGBoom, Cheedaman states that this is to annoy the people who didn't get the badge of the previous year.
      • This rule did not apply to Mysto's Whip, The Run Monster and bear_swagger999, due to all of these rewards being released during and after the discontinuation of BEAR*.
    • In every event, Cheedaman mocks those who don't have the previous event's badge in some way.
      • During BEAR SIGMA, Cart Ride Into The Bear has tracks which go to a plate where the the first day of april badge lies. However, the cart then takes a turn to the right and into invisible tracks, deviating from the badge. There is also text on the invisible turn saying, "life is never what it seems."
      • The thumbnail of THE RUN & FALL OF MYSTO ft. BEARS OF SIGMA AREA 51 has an image of the pizza badge with a poorly drawn red X on it.
      • MEGA Easy Obby!✨ [250 Stages] is the only event to not feature a previous April Fools Event badge in the game.
    • The Survivor on One Bounce round can sprint extremely fast.
    • The April Fools' Days Events were the only Bear related games where Whitey and Lagoon were playable by the public.
    • With the exeption of Mega Easy Obby!✨️ [250 Stages] all the April Fools' Day Events were organized in the same experience.
    • The gamemodes Thom and Thom2 are references to Cheedaman's former games known as Thomas Racing and Thomas Racing 2 alpha.
      • The Brownie Points currency is also a reference to Thomas Racing.
      • The maps Grassy, Audit and Space are slightly improved versions of the Thomas Racing 2 alpha maps: Grassy, Rocky and Space respectively.
      • The models for Thom in this gamemode might have been the inspiration for the trains from SKENGINES due to both having similar faces and designs.
    • The beeping sound from the Crouton gamemode is the same as the one from the Saint Samuel Statue.
    • The decal for Whitey The Killer, Lagoon The Killer, Ghostpepper The Killer and Green Puffle were not made by Cheedaman, and were actually made by Piky378. The mesh was made by Roblox for something called Blue Smiley.
      • The decals for Ghostpepper The Killer and Green Puffle were slighty modified.
    • When BEAR (Beta) came out, Cheedaman stated in the description that he would release a new game called "whitey alpha in the scary fun adventure to skengland" if the game received 30K visits before the experience being privated.
      • The game got well over the 30K goal in the entire length of the event, which meant that it would happen someday.
      • Cheedaman has yet to release it, even saying that it would still happen in both descriptions of BEAR SIGMA and THE RUN & FALL OF MYSTO ft. BEARS OF SIGMA AREA 51.

    Beta

    • The default skin from this game was Red Nose instead of Bear.
    • When this game originally launched people thought that it was a testing server.
    • This is the only time the april fools event used the classic Lobby instead of the one from the New Horizons update.
    • This is the only time that an april fools event had B.O.B. skin category instead of R.O.B. and it was the only event to have a regular Weekly B.O.B. instead of Anguished R.O.B.
    • Cinco de Sam had the BEAR (Alpha) design instead of the BEAR* design due to it coming after this event.
    • In BEAR (Beta) there was an unnamed currency that took the place of the Brownie Points, the currency used a photo of Thom as it's icon and it was unobtainable.

    Sigma

    • If you try to get the first day of april badge by going to the same location as where it was last year, you will see a text saying "you got Volcano George'd" along side a photo of him.
      • This photo is the same photo that's alongside your chances of you being the Bear.
    • This game uses the old UI of BEAR* even though it was updated with the New Horizons update.
    • gun and anti-social gears category came before social gears were introduced in BEAR* making gun the first gear in BEAR*.
    • There is a Cheese Factory building model inside dubstep. It has a fanart of Atrocity at the entrance.
    • You can find the ending of the Obby For Quidz! behind one of the buildings.
    • For some reason, the gun is also marked inside the inventory as a kill effect even though it's inside another category.
    • If you complete 2 puzzles on Crouton mode, you can finish it before it even started.
    • It's possible to glitch through Thom2's barrier.
    • Even though the rail to the first day of april is fake, it's still possible to reach it by using the flying cart, although, this is not recommended since it's 100% luck based and will not award the badge if touched.
    • Getting hit by Mysto9786's car in the lobby will cause the player's lower half to clip into the floor, and therefore the player cannot move until the next round.
    • The "NO OBBY?" sign is based off of the Megamind meme, "No Bitches?"
    • When BEAR SIGMA came out it deleted any skin the player previously had purchased or obtained when BEAR (Beta) originally came out.
    • The description of the game might have been a hint to the April Fools' Day Event of the next year.

    The Run & Fall

    • The Run Monster is based on a cancelled game that Mysto9786 was working on, titled The Run.
    • If you try to get the pizza badge by going in the same location as where it was last year, you will find Green Puffle saying: "goodness! somebody ate all the pizza. who would do such a thing?" This implies that somebody ate the pizza badge giver.
    • survival the bears in area 51 is based on a Roblox game called Underground Base by IcyFresh.
    • In survival the bears in area 51 there is an easter egg on which if you go in one of the yellow rooms near the secret room where the party time badge is located, Lagoon The Killer will appear in front of you, your screen will become extremely saturated and a jumpscare sound will play.[1]

    Mega Easy Obby

    • MEGA Easy Obby!✨ [250 Stages] is the only April Fools' Day Event to still be playable, although it won't give any rewards.
    • This is the first April Fools' Day Event to be organized in a different experience instead of the regular experience used for April Fools' Day Events.
      • For this reason many people didn't know about the experience or that if you completed it you would get a reward, which might have been the intention.
    • MEGA Easy Obby!✨ [250 Stages] is the first April Fools' Day Event to include a reward in BEAR (Alpha), along with giving a reward for another non-related BEAR game, SKENGINES.
